- Development of strategies to overcome barriers to the delivery of chemical, pharmacological, and biological therapies.
Clinical
- Initiation of pilot and multicenter trials of combination therapies with local regional therapy (LRT).
- Studies or education focused on the development and application of devices, techniques, and strategies to overcome treatment barriers, including:
- Combination approaches with immunotherapy.
- Advances in software use and image-guidance technology.
- Standardization of practice and techniques.
- Growing the global interventional oncology research community, driven by the development of research skill-building tools, techniques, and best practices.
