Palliative Interventional Oncology

Interventional oncologists have expertise in delivery of state-of-the-art, minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. As such, they are well-suited to provide palliative options for cancer patients, and in doing so, may help to maximize quality of life. These discussions among interventional oncology experts will help to illustrate goals and priorities of palliative care, and how various disciplines and patient caregivers can collaborate to enhance the palliative care experience.
