Saudi Interventional Radiology Society (SIRS)
The Saudi Interventional Radiology Society (SIRS) is a nonprofit, medical society that was established in 2014 to represent all Interventional Radiology physicians and trainees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Click here to learn more about SIRS.
The Korean Society of Interventional Radiology (KSIR)
The Korean Society of Interventional Radiology (KSIR), was founded in 1988 and has since played an active role in advancing the IR field not only within South Korea but also in the Asia-Pacific region. KSIR works closely with international societies including SIR, CIRSE, and APSCVIR. In 2023, KSIR will be hosting the APSCVIR (Asia-Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology) Annual Scientific Meeting. Also, keep an eye out for the IGET (Image-Guided Endovascular Therapy) live endovascular symposium and IICIR (International Intensive Course for Interventional Radiology) which will take place next year in Seoul.
The Korean Society of Image-Guided Tumor Ablation (KSITA)
The Korean society of image-guided tumor ablation (KSITA) is a division of the Korean Society of radiology (KSR) and is represented by a group of radiologists who are interested in tumor ablation. KSITA collaborates with international societies including SIR, SIO, and ECIO. KSITA will be hosting ACTA 2022, the 8th Asian Conference on Tumor Ablation in Seoul on 21 - 23 October, 2022.
The Taiwan Academy of Tumor Ablation (TATA)
Taiwan Academy of Tumor Ablation (TATA) is organized by interventional oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, and physicians who are dedicated to local tumor ablation in Taiwan. TATA is the founder of the Asian Society on Tumor Ablation and used to host ACTA 2014 and ACTA 2019. Nowadays TATA is well known as the most distinguished academic society and training institute in Chinese society.
The Singapore Radiological Society (SRS)
The Singapore Radiological Society (SRS) was founded in 1977. It is a not-for-profit, non-governmental society of radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians and radiation oncologists in Singapore. The SRS has carious subsections which represent subspecialties such as Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology and Radiation Oncology. We are dedicated to continuing medical education (CME) and promoting interaction and networking among our members. Activities include lectures and workshops conducted throughout the year, social events for our members, as well as an annual scientific meeting which is often combined with large regional and international conferences.
